I know it's not the latest of news yet Mr Pratchett announce, towards the end of last year, that he has early onset alzheimers disease. Truly one of the greatest satirists of our generation his gentle yet sharp wit will be truly missed as this horrible disease gets ahold of him.

I'm sure we can look forward to at least a few more books and althout I know he will never read this I would like to thank him for years of great reading and for being one of the few authors who can make me laugh out loud in public places.

It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. That is true, it's called Life.

Terry Pratchett

An education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

I love satire. I just googled him and found a Terry Prattchett quote site.

Life moves on. We have lost a valuable part of our sight with Mr Prattchett's forced respite.

I read about it in my daily Metro.
Beside a large photo of him with a big cheesy grin on his face was a quote.

'This is an embuggerance'

What a guy.

Terry Pratchett made me laugh and shake my head so many times, it's countless. I do hope his family holds tight. It's a rocky road with his condition.
