Have you ever experienced ESP? Do you think you have ESP? Do you believe there is such a thing as ESP?

I feel I definitely have ESP, and it has been a good thing as a doctor. It is not 100 %, or an at will thing, and it is more than intuition.

I will perceive that my wife or daughters or mother is calling me moments before the cell rings. I will feel something is going wrong with a patient, and in a moment I get a stat call to L&D. I wake up about 30 seconds before many, but not all, pages at night, and "have a correct feeling " where the page is coming from, i.e. what ER, an outside patient number, or L&D. I have a "feeling" that something is wrong with a patient, call her in to check, and behold, it is wrong and indicates immediate delivery or often surgery.

What do you think?

I know this woman who insists on having a relationship with a guy that beats her up. Sometimes I have had this urge to call her to see if everything is ok - everytime I have done this the police have been around at her place at the time because she has been beaten. Weird.

I was driving through country lanes at night when, for no apparant reason, I slammed on my breaks and brought the car to a sudden halt. Ahead of me was a single track road I have driven down hundreds of times, but this was the only time this 'feeling' of nonononono came over me. Sitting in the car, close to the narrowing curb, a large tractor came hurtling around a blind bend just ahead with only side lights on - had I proceeded there would have been a collision - I have had collisions since so it's not a faculty I truly posess !, but on this occasion somethig very different occured.

I really don't wish to share my experiance but can say I have and what I saw actually has happened and I had no control even with my prior knowledge. This has happened more than once. Yes i think it is weird, but each time it is actually as I saw it happened but useless to do anything.

Do animals have ESP? They know when a storm is coming, when danger is near, etc.

They are more intune with their surroundings, I agree.

If we can relate ESP to gut instinct then yes, could totally agree. Have seen the proof in the pudding.

Unlike ghosts, past lives, and aliens, I am not a skeptic of ESP. I believe humans (like most animals) have senses beyond what our conscious mind is aware of. It's not magic, it's not anything too clever ... just beyond our present understanding of the brain.

I think ESP and deja vu are related somehow, and tie in nicely with the concept of "instincts".

I'm teetering on the edge on this one. I always want to dig further into science about this.

Chucky, aw, how nice of you to post an avatar about me. LMAO!
