The only downside to this forum that I can see is the Private Messaging. I wish there was an alert that told you when a message was in your inbox. People need to get into the habit of just looking up to the top right of their page to see if there are any new and unread messages. ...ok all take a peek now, and see if you have mail that you havent replied to.

Hi,
Just go to your User CP and to Edit Settings. In there you will see some private message options one of which is "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up". Just click the little radio button and save.
You'll get a pop up each time you refresh and there is a new message.

the msg alert dont open with IE i have to cancel without opening from alert or is that just a prob with my pc ?

Could be something to do with allowing popups.

Same for me. I get the pop up but have to cancel as it won't open in a new window. It lets me know that there's a new message which is enough for me.
