After hearing a video in the yoursay section from some mooslam "woman", i am completely confused.
How exactly are we supposed to treat women ?
What the fuck do they want ??? Are they equal or are they not ?:mad::mad:

Women are people. Men are people. All people are equal. All people should be treated equally. That means every person, not just women, and not just men.
I will leave how women should treat women to the women.
Men should treat women as someone to be honored until honor is lost. Men should respect women, until respect is lost. Men should be courteous and remain at a social distant, respecting a woman's space. Men should offer to help a woman in any need, and should anticipate needs well ahead of time. Men should be willing to offer a hand, open a door, whatever is needed to be pespectfully courteous to the woman. The woman shall be treated fairly, and with respect at all times, and with grace when in the wrong. A woman shall be held as well as treated faithfully in marriage. Men should see women as equal parents. Men should see and treat their partner as a partner throughout life.
And hey, just about all of this stands for the way men should treat men, as well! Bottom line is that we should all treat each other fairly, equally, and respectfully.
My thoughts. :D

I didn't see it about women's rights.
I saw it as an argument to say the Islam treats women fairly. I think otherwise.
Plus she didn't allow comments. What does that tell you?

I very highly doubt that she is the one who posted that. I think it is something somebody found on YouTube or whatever and posted it here. She said she was from Lithuania, but the poster was from Sweden.
Or maybe she is in Sweden now? But I doubt it.

Yeah, someone posting someone elses video, i guess thats why no comments cuz she cant defend herself. I think the point was one that would have resulted in a lot of comments, that compared to the bible the qu'ran preaches respect for women....i dont know how true that is, you dont get many islamic scholars on this website surprise surprise

Repost, is there another agenda here, or you get two for the price of one? Women's Issues, and Mooslum (your spelling) bashing? What would you like us to say? That this one woman speaks for ALL women in her religious "discovery", and her own limited analogy of what she has seen briefly in some Islamic state? Different cultures have a different basis for what they perceive as being important to "womens issues", most often regardless of culture, men spend a lot of time speaking for them.

I agree with her starting at :50, and I believe everything went downhill the moment we gave women the right to vote. Men didnt stand their ground when they should have and now we pay for it. This is not how nature meant it to be. for thousands of years woman have had their place, and now all of a sudden within the last 50 years, drastic change. men find themselves in a world that doesnt coinside with their instincts, and woman are lost and wreckless. lets not talk about all those single welfare mothers and bastard children that i pay for either

I am just glad i have a real free thinking GF thats does believe we are different in many respects. I am all for equal rights. But i am all against female political leaders at this moment in time of possible violence and war. The time will be there once maybe, but not now. I know quite a few Feminists form the late 70ies who now think, what the hell was i thinking. It didn't make me happy at all and i never was a lesbian. I like being around a strong man. I am strongest and at my best trusting my man will be guided by my strongpoints in life. Ethics, honesty, caring, commitment, rationality, feet on the ground etc. I mean, ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT FFS! Ok, and we men can change too you know, but not as fast as women have from a superficial point of view. Just ranting here sorry. Equality is found in the mutual enjoyment. In society individual should all have the same rights, doesn't mean that because they are there, they have to be materialized per se! Oh shit. Post.

Women obviously should have equal rights and such and have complete freedom, everyone would agree on that i think. The problem is the blurring between how a women and a man should behave..the media has been active in blurring the line between how people should behave and interact this is the problem....the whole line "a women should know her place" being put accross as something wrong to say....it is wrong to say but it gives the impression that women should rebel against the "stereotype". We need to remember our roles in society and life, we are animals in essence essentially....and i dont mean women should stay at home and cook and clean, but it shouldnt be put accross in the media as if it is wrong brainwashing us. Ask a psycologist, what they show on the telly people try and change reality to emulate what the tv and 'authority' tells you is the correct way to behave.....'new man', - basically acting feminine, 'new woman' - basically drinking, sleeping around, earning the money, not necessarily taking the mother role and the father taking the mother role, behaving as a man behaves.....you see how those are the roles promoted in television and put across as the norm when they aren't.....they blur lines in society and it collapses as results have shown since the introductions of these new roles in family, drugs into society, encouragement of single parents, promotion of gangs (rap music etc.) after years of these sub-consious attacks on society by the media results are clear.....

Matt there is, go to user cp, and the edit options. there is a drop down box ehanced interface, I think. Then choose full wysiwyg editing, then save changes. It give you lots of options for type face and colour, different fonts, and a spell checker.:)

Kind of a funny thought here. It's kind of ashame that anyone should have to fight for or demand respect. The natural world is a strange place. I guess we are not that far from wild animals if you really think about it.
