Need a free or cheap FTP without malware or adware...suggestions?

Can anyone recommend a good FTP that's free or real cheap? I don't have much need of it, so I won't be using it hardly at all, which is why free would be better, but I do need it for a couple of things.

I like user friendly stuff, too, I'm not a geek.

Any and all suggestions appreciated, thanks! :D

FilleZilla is probably the most solid. Also has integration with browsers.

Or you could ask privately and i might have a copy of SmartFTP laying around.

Well, that's why I was asking. I would have gone to FileZilla but I have been reading that they are packaging on this adware nowadays, no?

Havent used it in a while. I put it on someone elses computer to transfer some files a few months ago, and dont remember any adware.

Besides, these days its on every installer. You have to make sure those check marks arent installing extra crap.

I do remember liking how you could do auto transfer and such.

There is an FTP program built right into windows. You can access it through the CMD prompt.

Open CMD prompt.
Type ftp "C:\>ftp" will now look like "ftp>"

open command will connect to the address you want. "ftp>open address"
put transfers files
get downloads files
ls will list contents of directory
quit exits the ftp program

Don't forget to get a list of the switches for that command. :)

Making up some batch files is handy too.

If the CMD is too complicated for you,, would sending them to a free cloud work for you.
Google or Skydrive.
Then you can get them from wherever.

Here's the thing...my daughter has set up a website using iPage. She wants to add a Favicon but needs an FTP client to do it. So I guess the purpose of having it is to help manage her web page?
