TSA OKs knives on airlines
The TSA said it would allow small knives onto planes, starting April 25

Delta Air Lines CEO Richard Anderson said Friday he objects to the federal Transportation Security Administration's move this week to allow small pocketknives on airplanes.
"These items have been banned for more than 11 years and will add little value to the customer security process flow in relation to the additional risk for our cabin staff and customers," Anderson said in a letter to the head of the TSA.
TSA Administrator John Pistole said the move brings the United States into alignment with international rules and are keeping with his "risk-based security" approach.

Former TSA chief backs 'knife' decision; suggests axes and machetes, too.

You can't make this stuff up!

im wondering if they are not fishing for some dramatics to happen with allowing 'certain' items to be allowed knowing that something will happen. they'd love to be on the front page with 'TSA stopped grandma with a 3" pairing knife, tazed and shackled"

there are so many flaws in the way the TSA operates it doesnt make sense to allow these items when so much other needs to be addressed. seems like they would streamline what they have first.
TSA wants to be regonized for something other than bad rep.'s. The ones at the local airport look less threatening than Walmart greeters and in worse shape. the TSa agents are a pathetic looking lot. when you give someone a little authority in a position where theyve never had any authority, there will be big heads and trouble.

Yes, it's retarded. They will not allow shampoo bottles but you can carry a knife on the plane. From what I heard, the TSA guy said (and I am telling you this is what he said, verbatim) that 'The lives of a few airline passengers is not a concern of ours, because they can't threaten the safety of the plane by killing some passengers. So knives don't pose a risk, except to the people who might be stabbed to death."

And to top it off, the union of airline attendants never got a heads up that this was going to take place, they learned about it the same day as the rest of us yobs. So, how's that for doing your homework and getting consensus, on something as important as allowing people to carry knives on airplanes.

Bottom line, we all have to carry a knife with us on our next flights, just to be safe and just to show the TSA what a stupid idea they had in mind when they came up with this "idea."

Nah, she'd surely already be in your lap, panties off, begging for another twenty seconds after she gets a glimpse of your Pokemon collection and your basket painting badge!

Chicks dig bad boys with mad skills, yo!

tI'd just like to note here that, to date, the TSA, in It's, history, has not detected nor apprehended a single "terrorist,"nor prevented any "terroristic" act.

They are as useless as bull tits... just a payroll program to enable ghetto thugs who harrass and assault productive citizens and guests.

BTW, 9/11 was an inside job and a hoax.
