Can only visit Liveleak through proxy?

This started happening about 3-4 days ago. Cannot connect to Liveleak through Firefox, IE, or EVE online browsers. I cannot ping its URL or IP address through 'CMD' either. Every other site I visit works fine.

I tried clearing my DNS cache (or whatever the terminology is); and I tried using Googles public DNS...same problem.

Finally I figured out that I can connect if I use a proxy browser or TOR. So what gives? This is frustrating as hell....and honestly a little suspicious.

I would recommend just reseting your modem first then turn to the net of answers.
ADDED: Don't forget to cold start your system after.

Hmm; maybe? I would have expected a notification of some sort.

Yeah tried all of that; including all of the suggestions in the link

Your account is registered+ , there is no ban on your IP address, you don't use a banned proxy, and if I'm honest I'm out of ideas around there. It's not an action taken at our end. How odd.

You have this problem with LiveLeak only, or all web sites??

I appreciate you checking on that. Yeah it is pretty bizarre; maybe it was the 'Web brigades' lol.

Then it may just be a corrupted link at your end.
All I can think to try is delete the links you use on the desktop, menu, etc and replace it with a working one using your regular browser from a search.
