Eric, I don't think Orange will run again for his 2nd term.
During the next mid-term the Dems might take the Senate, house..hard to tell.
The Dems are running around like mad trying to find a charismatic POTUS candidate for the next election cycle. Harris is only the latest iteration.
Of course the repubs have a bigger problem, they have no one at all, especially with a press never giving an even handed consideration to any of the repub candidates.

The pendulum of the swing of politics has progressively gone farther and farther to the left since the end of WW1, where the alt-left is now considered a viable political expression, the moderate left is considered middle of the road, and the moderate right is now considered extreme.
