No one will ever even come close to catching up with Nolan Ryan's Strikeout record. It almost seems unbeatable. The guy was fucking phenomenal. With 5,714 strikeouts, he's almost a whole thousand above even second place. Seems unreachable. Possible, but unlikely anyone is gonna break it for a very long time. Maybe even generations. And the all time record of 7 No Hitters. I watched him pitch his last no hitter 'live'. It was fuckin' great. Average fastball clocked over 100mph. A fucking missile, and he would fan'em left and right.
