To those who haven't seen yet the open beta (open to anyone) will begin September 27th for those who pre-ordered and September 29th for everyone else that wants to try it out.

I just hop the site I bought my pre-order cd key from is legit. It was pretty cheap so I'm a bit nervous.

I think they're all Origin (EADM) keys no?

I think I'll wait for a steam key. Any advantages to playing on Origin except earlier release? I'm looking at ebay and they seem to be popping up now and then. In fact I buy all my steam keys on ebay, i save a shitload...

BF3 will not come to STEAM platform. That was already announced about a month ago. The reason being that EA wants to handle their DLCs differently than what STEAM allows.
