Thanks for all your advice and help, folks.
I just finished an online chat session with a Dell Support rep. She uninstalled all my video drivers and installed new ones, and now the problem is gone. Btw, there was no charge for this. I've had some frustrations with Dell in the past, but this really worked out well.

Hello, You probably need to update your video and audio codecs,
The best codec pack in my opinion is this one http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/ If you install it you will virtually never need any others Ok well hope that helps. Regards Paul |
