You didn't mention what version of Windows you are using? Regardless, please either search on your machine for System Restore. Probably best to Google for some instructions on how it works if you are unsure, but it really is very simple to use.

BEFORE YOU USE IT, BACKUP!

System restore is most likely turned on by default, just pick the last restore point and click it. Job done.

The files you deleted on your desktop where only shortcuts.

to create a shortcuts for the following files try the following below:

1. Right click on the desktop > New > Shortcut
2. Type the location below for the following shortcuts
> C:\Windows\System32\Notepad.exe - Will add Notepad to desktop
> C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\Wordpad.exe - Will add Wordpad to desktop
> C:\Windows\System32\Defrag.exe - Will add Disk Defragment to desktop

+ a simple google search of the program name will usually give the full file path.

omg, thank you . . i jsut deleted my system32 folder and now nothings working!!!! I lost all my family pictures, music and pictures of my dead nana which I can never replace.

Sam, why did you do this? That wasn't very nice and it was very hurtful!!

what am i going to do? MrScabs, did you report him AND notify the owner Hayden? I hope you did both . . . .
