Right now there's a war being fought in the Republican party between the ultra-religious social conservatives and the libertarian leaning constitutional moderates, with Santorum and Paul representing each respective side of that conflict.

Romney, the middle of the road moderate, has the nomination but is possibly one of the least important candidates running.

I hope the constitutionalists win the soul of the party back, or the GOP's days are numbered.
