Egypt Cuts off Natural Gas to Israel

Unfortunately this was just a financial dispute. So there's little chance Egypt will cut the supply on a permanent basis. Meanwhile Israel continues to steal natural gas from Palestine through their military blockade off their coast and exploitation of the wells off Gaza.

The NG deal would have been cancelled soon anyways. Israel is developing their own NG wells and are expecting the wells to start producing soon. Egypt did what it did b/c of politics and not b/c of anything Israel did within the context of the business agreement. The Egyptians are already talking about prosecuting those involved in selling gas to Israel. Why would they be targeting the suppliers for crimes against the state, if this whole issue was born out of Israel's inability to make timely payments? The fact is, anti-Israeli politics is behind all of this.

Bullshit....the MB said ages ago that the first thing they would do would be to break the peace agreement with ISrael and stop stop supplying gas.
The pipe lines were being constantly attacked.
Vendors were threatened for supplying gas,
