I wondered was it still April the first when I saw the news today.
This is a black day for English football. If we were not already fucked before we sure are now. I suppose on the flip side this is quite a good move by the FA. Just take away ANY, ANY microbe of hope supporters had when Arry was in for the job and replace him with YES MAN Hodgson. To get Arry would have cost around 10 million, To get Woy, peanuts ie NADA. Time to buy my team GB jersey I reckon for the Olympic Football Squad. I bet we win GOLD. While the big headed primadonnas ( you know who you are rooney, fat frank, racist terry, etc) will fail big style once more. Just to clarify I never thought Engerlund would WIN the Euros, but a better showing than last time was essential. Fuck the Ukraine, I'm staying at home. GO TEAM GB!

Funny how such a big deal is made of the England Manager role.
As if it's the Manager who's actually responsible for us winning or losing. Regardless of who's in charge, the players still play fucking shite when they're on the pitch. |
