Its become some gay agenda thing.. Which it never should of. Bullying occurs to all types you dont have to be gay to be bullied..

I ended bullying in my school by very publicly giving the dude a permanent sinus collapse and injury.Dem's da breaks of diddyboppin'.Even the jocks and cheerleaders were scared shitless of us(1977 skateboarder punks)as was admitted to me later in the 90's,during a reunion.

they are free to believe that, of course, and their right to believe such and voice it is protected. however, dan's right to believe and voice the fact that he thinks their belief is absurd is also protected, as it should be. everyone is entitled to opinion.

however, dan savage making a general statement about christians is different than singling out a student and bullying him because he's gay.

Many Christians also believe that viewing pornography is a disorder. Same with drinking, smoking, partying and *gasp* dancing.

if dan can make general statements about Christianity, than Christians can make general statements about homosexuals.

Oh yeah, just for the record, I do think homosexuality is a mental illness. As with all mental illnesses, I don't think it's a choice and I don't think it's the "fault" of anyone. I also think those with mental illnesses have contributed greatly to society, history and culture in many ways. I don't think homosexuality is something to be feared or shunned. I do think it's legitimate that people who don't accept the rhetoric that homosexuality is completely normal and just as valid as heterosexuality should be silenced, threatened or intimidated because of that belief. In my mind, saying homosexuality is a mental illness is just as valid as saying it's wonderful alternative lifestyle in the public sphere. Public schools have no business taking a stand on the issue at all.
