Most professional training simulations have only one purpose and that is to teach Standard Operating Procedures (e.g. "How to build and manage a Road-Checkpoint"). So far there is only one public/commercial product that was also sold to national armies. It is ArmA / VBS by the czech developer BIS. And besides ballistics it has zero to no "physics". Because it is simply irrelevant. And yes, I remain convinced that gamers are "arm chair warriors" but gaming is still great entertainment nevertheless. I'm on my phone right now but later I'll search and find a video I saw all about military recruitment centers having all sorts of shooting game stations set up for kids to come play on. I don't know what to think about it because I think its amusing these games always create storylines that center around justifiable wars defending our homeland and such which is noble, but the real wars we are fighting right now have very little to do with our freedom and more with the price of a crude barrel of oil.
