'Comments' a suggestion
One of the things I like about live leak is being (for the first time) able to comment on the News, a pastime eagerly practised by so many men in bars all across the UK after work!
So I was thinking about how to expand the pleasure and increase the quality of the written comments we could perhaps introduce a 'Comment of the Week/Month/Year' voted with a button like 'award' submitted by readers. There will always be the 'Suck yer dick' crowd but the thing I love about LL is the discussions that spring out of the stories. Most people either have a point to make about the story (which could get submitted for the award) or try to come out with a funny one liner (and I have read some classics) that could get voted for the award,
Thing is the award could inspire some more effort, and in the process discourage the Prick brigade! |
