ya the article says about 10% GLOBALLY believe in the Mayan 2012, but it didn't say what percent of Americans think so.

I watched an episode of Wife Swap where the family believed in the Mayan 2012, and they were nuts! The spent every day preparing for 12/21/12, by doing all sorts of safety-disaster drills, wearing these radiation suits, etc. This woman carried a backpack of safety tools everywhere she went, and when one guy told her to take it off she was like, "NO, DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!"
