She passed away yesterday 8th Nov 2012 at 9:30pm. We had a call from the hospital that she was in a critical condition. My father and sister went to the hospital but they were 2 minutes too late. According to the staff nurse she passed away somewhat peacefully. She just stopped breathing. Her heart was extremely weak. A few weeks ago she developed a urinary infection which put her in hospital where her condition grew worst. Then last week she caught a strain of the msra bug. I visited the hospital a few days ago. She was talking gaga for the most part but knew who I was. I will miss her greatly. The stories she told me about the wars were always fascinating. A rare breed. RIP Nan you are no longer suffering

Cheers Lip. Some of the shit she told me about WW2 was intense. She worked in an ammunition factory here in Birmingham UK. Some of the b/w photos we have found are incredible. I'll prob upload a few
