Few problems with new upload

Hi just finished upping this

It took about 8 attempts before it took 100% of the file,

It started then at what seemed random %ages it stopped, waited then tried again only to fail at another random point. I tried saving the file in various formats to no avail.

Another thing thats happened is the sound, on the uploaded file its sharp and clear, the system seems to have messed with this, theres increase in bass and less quality.

This is not a complaint, just with the Janitor in fixing the upload and that it would be useful to them. Also I wanted to find out why,
I seem to have cured my desitre for higher quality by setting the video output to 1280 x 780 with video bit rate set to 2000, FPS I noticed was set by the site to 20 f.p.s so I set it to this.
You can see the sound has been changed to, Sampling rate : 22.05 KHz - I'm no expert but isn't this low for HD quality?
Is that why the sound sounds washed out and dull, no shine

Same problem here.

I can't get the file to upload. Shows 1% then just sits there. It's a 20MB, simple flv file.

Using Firefox 17.0.1 on Windows 7 x64 Pro.

The only way I succeeded is to keep trying.

Also I did try to re-save the file using SolveigMM AVI Trimmer purposely because it re-writes the file from scratch - just in case the file was corrupt.

I have seen this before, the upload sees one problem and rejects the job, maybe number of retries needs increasing, shot in the dark.

when it does get through they watermark it and convert to save space, but the sound is set to small, it's wrecking any music and "sounds like an 8 track" as one of my commenters said.

It sort of negates all the effort you put into the whole job.

Hope they get it sorted soon, I think its the Sampling rate : 22.05 KHz, I think that's the cause. Just gotta wait till one of the folks come back to us.

Having the same problems here.

Tried several attempts to upload a 128 mb AVI vid.

Last attempt it got to 54% after 25 minutes, then quickly went to 100% in a few seconds.....even though it shows 100%, when trying to submit , the system shows no file was detected!!!

Took about 2 days and 10 attempts last time i uploaded on the old system.
This is getting very frustrating.

Try this.
Reboot the puter then immediately log in and try the upload.
Don't do anything else first.
Worth a try.

Its working now
Got my upload done, but took an hour to do 128 mb.

Im having problems uploading a video. When I click start upload, it just jumps to 100 % and then it says its processing a file. My file is 22MB so it can not go to 100% uploaded in one second.

Any clues ? I tried several times, but its always the same..
