Europe has ca. 711 million people( as of 2010) and the US has just under 315 million (as of today). So the population of Europe is more than double that of the US.

Most of those European shootings were done using legally held firearms. If anything they just help to strengthen the argument for even stricter gun control.
These "stats" are also fairly pointless as the population of the EU and Europe as a whole are 200million and 400million higher than that of the US.
