Default The Hobbit
Saw it, loved it. Don't go in expecting the same type of movie as the previous LOTR movies. It was an epic adventure flick, great acting and hands down the best CGI and film quality BY far I have ever seen on a screen.

I went and saw it over the weekend. The first LOTRs got me more moist but this one was good and had it's moments. Extra points for copious amounts of pipe-weed consumption.

I'll likely go see the next two as well, would recommend it to fans of the sword and sorcery genre.

I seen it in IMAX 3D on Saturday. They showed a 5 minute scene from Star Trek, after a minute or so of that I kind of would have preferred to see the Star Trek movie, but I quickly found myself immersed in the hobbit. Great film and I recommend you try it in 3d. Live action shots were pretty average, but the parts that relied heavily on the CGI were truly amazing with the 3d tech. Arrows flying at ya, fire embers floating around the audience.
Yeah and as faurkbeans mentioned... the pipe-weed was definitely being smoked and enjoyed by everyone especially those hippie wizards.

No there wasn't any Oz trailer. Some Tom cruise film, star trek 2, and something else I don't really remember....
