Big fallacy with the new blocking system

Well, I don't see anything wrong with telling somebody what a skunk you think he is just before you block him. He's entitled to some sort of explanation even if you give it rudely. But there are some jerks out there who block people and then repeatedly lift the block only long enough to harass them periodically. That defeats the whole purpose of the feature.

You're not understanding.

If you leave a comment letting someone know why you are blocking them, then block them, they cannot see or read your comment. Because you blocked them.

I don't blame you for misunderstanding though. LiveLeak is the only site I know of where blocks work like this.

I know that. The notice reads "Comment cannot be displayed, since you have blocked this commenter OR the commenter has blocked you". When I see that notice, I sometimes log-off, read the comment, and log back on. And I am absolutely sure the one person who is on my block list is quite aware that I wrote the following reply to him just before I blocked him:

You have now openly stated your intent to stalk me on this site the way you did on Youtube. Nobody should be expected to tolerate that behavior even on Liveleak. I will now block you. Any claim you make that l have blocked you merely because you disagree with me will plainly be a lie. Good day.

I have run into an obvious annoying propaganda troll on the Syrian uploads...

1...He has less than 200 points, new user.

2... He already has 3 Infractions and the troll/devil logo next to his name

3.....He constantly talks crap to others and posts has an obvious hate towards a certain racial group of people


3B.....And I have high suspicious reason he is using multiple liveleak accounts (undetected via easy proxy access) to up his own comments. I also noticed (just before he blocked me) many of his suspiciously high rated comments are upped by the same people almost as instant as he says them (ALSO NEW USERS upping his comments, go figure!)

I could care regardless, but I want to just ask HOW CAN I BLOCK HIM VIA MY PROFILE, since I cannot get onto his personal page now? I want him to not reply to me at all, as he is a troll and already has the troll image next to his name even!

I dis agree with blocking..
I don't delete comments unless it's pure spam, or somebody given out other members personal info etc..

If a person is blocked, they should not be able to post comments on videos or the channel of the person blocking them. But they should still be able to see videos, channels, and comments of the person blocking them, and be able to delete comments left by someone who has blocked them.

As a side note, votes should really be anonymous. I'm sick of getting abusive and threatening comments on my channel because someone didn't like that I disagreed with and downvoted their comment.
