Modern atheism is a religion, cos many of its default views on the self, consciousness and death are equally stupid anthropocentric metaphysical Assertions above and beyond our understanding of the laws of nature.

Wrong. In fact, the hardest thing is to organize atheists. It's like herding cats. One thing is for sure though. There is no metaphysical and there is an understanding of science and nature. That is the only commonality.

Oh yeah... we have a problem with this virgin birth thingy too.

If you dont have hair, but then you take a position on hair color like you say you have black hair, that means you then have hair.

I question your opinion on organising atheists, a beer tent, large and varied barbeque and games of chance for monies problem solved,,, i also question the "we have a problem with the virgin birth thingy", some careful balancing and a jolly good aim might explain that conundrum

My logic? I quoted directly from the Federal Appeals Court transcript where the atheist, Gary R. McCaughtry, won his case on appeal and was granted the right to form an atheist religion study group.

Surprisingly not as much as you would think so but in a way I agree. I organize a group and am familiar with many other groups in my area. Beer and food clearly only attracts a certain crowd out out of non-believers. Really what it comes to is the commonality against any intolerance.

On a point of order, you can't be granted a right, your right can only be ackowledged. The subtle difference is that the right exists of itself even if it has yet to be acknowledged.
