Hoghunting.
These guys go hunting with their dogs, nothing you havent probably seen on Youtube or somewhere else but i do have an issue with this. The hog is caught by the dogs, its back legs held up and the hunters stand and watch the dogs chew at its face and body for quite a while. Its only after some time has passed that they push a blade into its side and let it die a slow death ,again with the doge still chewing its face. Ive said before, ive shot rabbit and pheasant and make sure its a clean kill, or i walk up and finish it quickly. So tell me what you think of this kind of hunting. Yes I meant acceptable ![]() Last edited by keith moon; 08-04-2011 at 08:38 AM. |

I think it's very unexceptable. I have never agreed with letting
dogs maul a hog. I've even voiced that my opinion with ppl who hunt hogs this way. Kill your querry or let'em go. No need in lettin them dogs whoop on that swine like that. |

Yeah I noticed the other day there is a new show on the discovery channel I think it was about hog hunting and a clip showed them hunting this way, animal cruelty for sure imo. An animal if being hunted has the right to be killed quickly in the most humane way possible if not that type of hunting should not be legal, period. Asking that an animal suffer the least amount as possible is not something hard to accomplish or asking for a lot.

It would be different if they killed the animal to eat. That is huntin.
This i feel is just a sick and twisted way for the participants to get a hard on. No it isnt acceptable. |

I'm conflicted about this ... It's obviously cruel, but you've gotta reward hunting dogs too.
Sustainable hunting shouldn't be discouraged (even though Ive never done it), especially when controlling pests. Once a dog is "blooded" they require skill to manage safely, I reckon your average hunter knows how to manage their hunting dogs. |

I have never understood this idea that all animals in a country are either pets/livestock or vermin/pests.
In the past in the USA anythin and everythin was considered a pest and rewards and even scholarships were handed out to those "hunters" that brought in the most pelts. This not only happened in the US btw but all over. Fox huntin in the UK is just an excuse for toffs to got royal hard ons and the farmers blamin badgers for spreadin foot and mouth disease is cited as a reason for a mass cull. The fact that their over use of antibiotics force fed to cattle as a precaution has been ignored as a possible reason, so has the way the animals are kept. The result of all this past "huntin" is a much denuded natural fauna. A great loss to everyone. |

Great parenting there. Way to teach the kid the proper way to kill an animal. I don't care what anyone else says about this video or the method of hunting. This is just sick and cruel. I'm all for putting food on your table, but have some respect for the animal you kill. I'd prolly hog tie these guys and bitch slap them while my Rottie gnawed at their face. Sick fucks.
