Metaphysics according to Aristotle is the queen of the sciences. It defines what exists as opposed to what is merely a human conception of what exists. for example if atomic reductionism is true, then only atoms exist, but not chairs, tables, cars, lifeforms and other combinations of atoms that would be mere psychological constructs projected onto atoms. Modern atheism, or rather the conservative militant Dawkins brand is choked full of metaphysical dogmatic assumptions that are unquestionably adopted from folk psychology and that indeed are largely inbuilt in the human faculty for language and cognition, and employed when they draw default conclusions

2. Atheism is itself a religion. While atheist will argue that they don't believe in any god and therefore, in their minds, they are therefore not in a religion, the issue is not merely non-belief in God or gods but in having ANY sort of belief system that is of vital importance to the person. The belief system of atheism is centered around the philosophy of "Secular-Humanism."


3. Atheism is a religion according to a 2005 Wisconsin federal court ruling as well as the 1961 U.S. Supreme Court—the highest court in the USA. U.S. Supreme Court rulings become national law.

As soon as you start defending a point of view it becomes an ideal, ideals are the basis of all religions, including modern day Atheism, which isn't real Atheism, it is now the name of a religion that believes there is no deity.
