North Korea warns U.S. forces of "destruction" ahead of war drills

Technically we're still at war with them. Open conflict with them again would probably be a pain in the dick though just like it was in the 50s. They're some diehard, fanatical, mother fuckers who have been indoctrinated since childhood to hate Americans. Plus China would probably send another million men in and the war would result in stalemate again unless nukes started flying.
