"A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends."
- Baltasar Gracian
Speaking in broad generalitles, if a Jew sees something that isn't his that works, he studies it, adopts it, masters it, and sells a better version. If a Muslim sees something that isn't his that works, he either buys it from someone else who understands how it works or if he can't afford to do that he condemns it. The rare foolish Jew is surrounded by fellows urging him to do better. The rare wise Muslim is surrounded by fellows either indifferent or hostile. Israel is a nation to learn from, but all Muslims want to do is destroy it. Jews have influenced the world all out of proportion to their numbers...through their thinking power and their willingness to interact with others cooperatively.
Israel isn't an embarrassment to the muslim world, the muslim world is its own embarrassment. Today's Arab world is a festering swamp of social dysfunction, a bloodbath of tribal genocides and self serving brutality, and a wasteland of intellectual ignorance. Muslims are too busy hating Israel and boasting to each other how awesome they are to listen and learn very much. As a group they're like the idiot little brother so anxious to show off that they can't even get on a bicycle without destroying it and injuring themselves trying to pull off some impossible show-off stunt while simultaneously attempting to run over that other kid they dislike. It's amusing how Arabs tend to look down on black Africans, because in fact they both compete quite ferociously to see who can squander their intelligence and natural resources the most completely. If it wasn't for their oil and the revenue it generates, the Arabs would be as irrelevant to the rest of the world as the Bantu.

Some of you are thinking that you won't fight. Others, that you can't fight. They all say that, until they're out there....
