The evolution of Marx's 'International Communism' demonstrates this.
What a bunch of pseudo-intellectual prattle and nonsense!

"Reason" and "Romanticism" are just not really at odds at all.
Marxism was the deliberate hijacking and perversion of them.
The de-evolution of the "Hegelian ideal of spiritual evolution"
is just his ideal perverted in Marxist Dialectical Materialism.
Putz!

Kantian philosophy was rather static compared to Hegelian's dynamism. The only thing the two have that's similar is Kant put the idea of time, along with space, as an a priori concept hardwired in the mind. Hegel sort of adopted that Kantian concept of time but then made the now, the only and final arbiter of all human action as relates to the progress of the now. That's why all Hegelians and Marxists wind up talking about the future as if it's history and has already occurred. Hegel never made any future predictions. Rather, his student, Karl Marx, was the one who reduced all human activity to economic materialism and predicted a future socialist utopia. The only real different between a Marxist and the more mundane sounding progressive, is Marx laid out a sequence of events by which the socialist utopia would come about and progressives are open to any tactic that would bring about the socialist utopia. What Marx and Hegel and their followers agree upon is that the socialist utopia is inevitable so all decisions in governance should be made assuming the socialist utopia is already achieved in the future. That's why they talk so funny about it.

The Rana whatever gupta, the author of the article, is basically a Hegelian. He's assuming globalism has already happened in the future. The present course of action should reflect that in the future, globalism has already happened. Therefore all major human institutions should proceed as if this fait accompli has been achieved and make decisions, policies accordingly. Like all Hegelian and Marxist bullshit......they overlook the very basic concept that the future hasn't occurred yet so no, globalization hasn't happened yet, probably won't happen and like every other appeal to the authority of the unknowable future, their actions in the present are doomed to failure.

Kant isn't the problem here whether you like him or not. The problem is one of the hegelian nutcases that think the future has already occurred and thus everything in the present should be geared toward that inevitable future.

What Rana GooberGupta leaves out is any reference to any events occurring in the recent past that contradict his future prediction. He also ignores all actual knowable historical trends that undercut his thesis that nation states are doomed. He doesn't even understand the "why fors" of the nation state coming into being to begin with. He treats the nation state as if it was just a choice among many other models of how modernity came about. It's not. There's basically only three choices, the nation state, tribalism and feudalism. Guptadingdong can't grasp that no developed nation state has ever become either communist or socialist nor has any tribal nation ever super advanced into a communist or socialist state. Not by what he would consider a communist or socialists state. What is historically certain and knowable is all undeveloped and/or tribal nations that have tried to become socialist or communist, end up a) as nation state and b) as a nation state that remains undeveloped and mired in economic woes. There is no historical example of any socialist utopia that has even made a dent in the nation state as an existing reality although it's always tried to make the nation state as a concept obsolete.

However, GuptaGoober maintains one exception in his articles to his clear hegelian hope-i-nism and that's India. Obviously, he wants India to succeed and to prosper and it's interesting to note that he wants it to succeed and prosper by strengthening its position as a nation-state. So he's basically wanting to tear down everyone else's nation (okay, only "white" western developed nation states) while his brown India prospers. He thinks winners and loser on the global level are a zero sum game which is another hard wired piece of idiocy that just about every globalist hegelian marxist carries around in their "future is inevitable" brain right next to the neuron labeled "FORWARD!"

It's a stupid article, written by a guy who can't even see his own massive contradiction staring him in the face. It's just a mish mash of lefty concepts put together in strings that aren't grounded in reality at all.

There is no other reason to put Putin, Trump, Brexit, Erdogan, Syria, AfD in the same basket other than these are things that are recent, occurred on planet Earth and have to deal with the governance of .........get this.......nation states. The very thing he's says they're denying are essential to What They Are. They are all occurrences that happened in nation states. But Rana's nutty rant is what happens when a wordy college grad from Wisconsin and a Fulbright Fallacy collide in the embodiment of a Indian immigrant who doesn't not know jack shit about Aristotle, Kant, Locke, Hobbes etc. He just puts things together and assigns them a genera based on something that hasn't even happened but he thinks will happen in the future.

It's stupid left Crystal Ball Gazing bullshit.

Yes, but again just don't blame either Hegel or Hegelism.

Blame Marx and his perversion of Hegel's ideals and ideas.
Both Marxism and Globalism are rooted in the very same source:
Malignant Narcissism and Óll of the lying hypocrisy that always results due to it.
