I don't suppose you played streets of rage? (1, 2 or 3) if not - you can probably get a good emulator and ROM on the net.

I really like the soundtrack they did to the original, it would be cool to hear what you can do with it. (Especially the stage 1 boss fight background music)

I have played the streets of rage series on the Megadrive, but not the SMS. Always loved the music.

Too easy though. I can complete SOR2 on the hardest setting relatively easy. A sega man myself but jumped on the ps wagon and stayed there lol. I have the first FAT ps3 upgraded with a 1TB HD, A bit more memory and additional cooling. Never touched the xbox

Yep, I first played the original on the megadrive too. I have to admit, I remember being disappointed with SOR2 and SOR3 - the original was just too good back then. Many years later when I went back and played them all again with megadrive and MAME emulators - they are all great games in their own right.

I'd still bang blaze 'till this day, in all her 16-bit glory.

EDIT: I actually had a PSP - and had the sega megadrive classic's game which featured streets of rage the original - didn't put it down for days! That's what prompted me to get a good emulator and the ROMs of 2 and 3 on the net.
