Of course it's legal. The 2nd amendment says fire arms, as in muskets. Hey, I don't think anyone minds if people own muskets. Kinda hard to do mass shootings with those.

But the government doesn't have to ban guns entirely. All they have to do is limit the type of guns available to either shitty chinese crap that brakes on you after the first shot or some old type of weapons (WW2 Springfield).

Nowhere in the 2nd, does it say anything about muskets. Those were the firearms of the day, equal to what the military at the time used as well.

The point was to be able to have equal protection. Since firearms have evolved, so have those available to the public.

Thanks for trying to redefine our Constitution to fit your own personal feelings, but the Supreme Court has already ruled on it a few times and I think we're just fine without you rewriting our founding father's vision for this country.
