You'll see, when the next pearly white teeth slick haired Romney establishment type steps up and it will be back to normal

here's the thing spud. He DID beat out 16(I think) other more polished establishment politicians.
I think you're ignoring that prelude to this election.
The electorate want a change.

Trump is and has been an anomaly , so yeah, Republicans will likely vote for the next "Romney" because that's the choice they are usually given.
But Trump has cracked the mold, and hopefully in doing so , pushed the republican party to make some long over due changes.

Tho I won't hold my breath seeing as they've been the party of self destruction for the past 3 cycles.

spud, you clearly don't get what you think you get. If i were gonna choose him simply because he were Republican, i'd just say so. I'd have supported Cruz. Paul, Carson or Kasich, all of those highly backed and endorsed by the GOP. Been supporting Trump from the start. The Republican party has alienated many voters. Nah, anti-establishment is exactly it. But i guess it makes you feel like you know something to say otherwise.

Yeah he's a cunt. A narcissist. Don't care. Still better than the other choices. Time to rattle Washington. I've even voted Democrat before. I used to be a Democrat. Didn't even start leaning Republican until around 2002-2003.

This is very true. Trump gets to be the defacto leader of the alt-right, and possibly build a new media empire (Trump TV?) on right-wing propaganda that will siphon the more extreme viewers (40 million of them) from Fox.

Hillary gets to be constantly in the limelight and lambasted for her policies, for better or worse, and if the GOP holds enough seats, possibly obstructed and 'investigated' ad nauseum.

She also has her legitimacy constantly (and no bones: erroneously) called into question over completely unfounded urban legends of a 'rigged' or 'stolen' election.

See Bush in his first term and the reaction of the bitter far left to Al Gore's lost legal challenge to a vote recount. Now multiply it by ten because there's no legal challenge, no talk of recounts and no legitimate evidence at all; and that they've been primed for it all year with offhand comments and outright false claims that the election will be 'rigged'. It will be - on the far right at least - the enduring theme of her presidency.

Did you miss the republican nominee's elections? the candidates preferred by the republican party didn't get a real look in, ted Cruz was the closest rival. The ordinary republicans voted for trump in their droves, he is the closest to anti-establishment you can get in this election.
