25 bucks for a mothers headlight resto kit at the auto parts store.

Depending on severity of the oxidation....

600 grit horizontally

800 grit vertical

1000 grit horizontal

1200 vertical

1500 horizontal

2000 grit vertical.

Get a cup of water, cut sanpaper into 3 inch by 3 inch squares. Submerge sandpaper in water for about 20-30 seconds til it is pliable, then begin your sanding in straight lines only, no circles rinsing the sandpaper often and wiping the headlight often with a microfiber towel wet with 50/50 rubbing alcohol/water to keep the surface clean.

With each sanding grit you should sand a bit longer than the previous grit.

When you finally are finished with 2000 grit the plastic should be smooth and a clouded white with no deep scratches.

Then get a drill and use the foam attachment and the plastic polish to polish the headlight. If you do it correctly it should look brand new. I've done many of these, volvo, lexus, shitty gm vehicles, etc.

If these lazy mods ever approve me I will post pics so you can see.

The proper way to fix that is to use an abrasive paste to remove the yellowed layers, then spraying on new acrylic with UV block to restore the thickness.
The cheap kits don't have proper spray on acrylic.
Look around, many shops will do this and it comes out like new.
Where they sell used expensive cars is a good place to look, some detail shops also.

Helly's a single mom. Aint got funds for all that. If you have too many vehicles you should hook her up dawg. She seems like a good kid to me.

Yep. Paste toothpaste will also get moisture rings off of a wooden table. I told somebody about it once and found out they used a gel. Gel doesn't work.
