Google redirect is exactly what I had and that was the only thing that fixed me. It was maybe a year ago, so maybe no good anymore.

There are alot of articles about the google redirect virus out there, but I'm afraid you might not be able to follow the hyperlinks from a search engine.

Exactly right,should ALWAYS do repairs in safe mode.In our shop we even pull the drives and remote scan them on the sterile bench rig(tech box)and then do safe mode scans after putting the drives back into the system,IF windows will still run,then you have a reasonable chance of success.Sadly,by the time I get to a system most times,it's thoroughly broken and only an f&r will restore it.While the drive is out I memtest the mobo,cpu,and ram modules with all the peripheral cards pulled out as well.That isolates any faulty cards.I also give a 30 day warranty on all repairs.
