Help needed with iTunes....
I hate iTunes and cannot wait until January to get rid of this iPhone but I have a question for you guys that I hope you can help me with. I recently bought a new PC and downloaded itunes. I have authorised my new comp and want to update the software for my iPhone but before I do so I want to transfer all of the music on my iPhone to my iTunes library but iTunes seems to only allow me to transfer the music I have purchased via iTunes! I have over 1k songs in my library that were taken from CD's that I have but cannot seem to transfer them to the iTunes library.
Surely there is a way to transfer them too without me having to rip them from discs again?? It is driving me up the fuckin wall. I have never came across such a complicated platform as iTunes in my life.

Try some substitute like sharepod, winamp or Floola, I've used these instead of itunes as I too find it to be pure crap. with Floola you will be able to transfer music from and to your ipod/iphone.

Dump all your songs into a folder somewhere, use the iTunes "import to library", authorize the device, then do a sync.
There's no restriction on where your songs come from, unless all your songs came from Zune early in it's life (MS used DRM that even Windoze rejects in 2011). This is operator error, not a software restriction. |
